Spanish Community Gathers to Witness Historic Victory

Spanish football fans from across Guangzhou gathered early Monday morning to witness the victory of their team over the Netherlands in the World Cup final. In Touch, Lounge Bar and Restaurant, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce organized for the occasion a huge party which started three hours before the kick-off, attracting a colorful crowd of fans dressed in the Spanish national colors, yellow and red.

People were shouting and cheering, vuvuzelas were blazing and joyful cries erupted when Andrés Iniesta broke loose with a blistering goal late in extra time. Some guys even took off their clothes, hugging and jumping... The ecstatic mood lasted late into the night.
