Founded in 1986, Verdensteatret (which means "the world theater") consists of artists from different fields working together and bridging the gaps between artistic borders. Today, they are one of the most innovative artistic groups in Norway and have presented their work across the globe.

In Guangzhou, they are presenting The Telling Orchestra and a new piece developed specifically for the Guangdong Museum of Art named Phantom Shadows Dancing an Electrified Folklore, in which they have developed a unique and complex audiovisual style simultaneously presenting sculptures, drama, sound objects and a story narrating the fate of the fragile human soul.
