Tunnel Linking Bio-island and University Town to Finish in 2008

The underwater part of the tunnel, linking Bio-island and Higher Education Mega Town (University Town), is intended to be completed next year, according to the Bureau of Urban Utilities and Landscaping of Guangzhou Municipality.

The tunnel is located in the southeast part of Guangzhou. As Guangzhou's third cross-river tunnel, it will be one of the principal arteries and a fee-free quick way connecting downtown, Bio-island and the University Town.
